Um.. yeah a few stairs. Why?
Not bad...
And your accent's okay, too.
.
I barfed after watching this.
Hahaha!
Nice game, excellent coding on the combos.
The best part, though, is what the bosses say after you kill them.
"My friend told me that I look ugly.
Please don't hurt me. I am gay."
Very nicely crafted game.
Very professional looking, and a lot of fun, too. My score was 313.
The music loops get a little repetetive after a while, so I marked the Sound down a little. Otherwise, the voice of the teacher was great, as were the rest of the sound effects.
Perhaps one way to overcome this would be to have "themed" levels, with different music in each one? Just a suggestion.
Overall, an excellent game.
Way too random...
I spent like, half an hour building myself up only to meet one shotgun-guy who had like 150 health and a 60 point weapon. Totally not cool. There was no way to beat him.
A couple of suggestions: During fights, there should be a "Run" option. Hitting "Run" would give the enemy a free shot, but after that, the fight would be over.
Also, having an Inventory would help. During a fight, you could choose "Use" to use a First Aid Kit, or a Grenade, or something like that. It would make the fights a little more dynamic.
Also, keep the options in the same place throughout the entire game. Make a designated option box at the bottom of the screen, and any time you have to select an action, it's always listed in that box. That would make it so the player doesn't have to click at the top for "Wander around some more" then click at the bottom for "Pick up the bag."
Since the encounters are random, there should be a limit to how many encounters you have within the past, say, five encounters. There was one part where I met a guy with a gun TEN TIMES IN A ROW. It was rather tiresome. I'd given him zero dollars for nine of those times and he still kept popping up.
Other than that, it was a pretty decent concept for a game. If you're serious about it, I would just flesh it out a little more, add a few more details. Maybe make it so when you're wandering around, you can the spot where you want to wander to, and have other non-required "special" locations.
I am automatic.
